• In the aftermath of world war two, trans communities began to pop up in what could be describe as a similar fashion to that of the Weimar republic. “Heterosexual male crossdressers began to meet in the 1950s and by the 1960s were publishing magazines and gathering in the Catskills, urban Los Angeles, and elsewhere” (Denny)
• We can learn from the movements within Weimar Germany and identify tactics that were successful, as a means of furthering progress in our own time.
